Hanna

Hanna was conceived in international waters, but grew up in Langesund, Telemark, Norway. She made her career choice at the age of 7: to become a song star. At ten, she played in the musical Annie, the peak of her career so far. Later she found that nearly all kinds of performing was fun. She studied at the European Film College in Denmark, then moved to Oslo to study drama, maskplay and dramaturgy at HiO and dance at Skolen for Samtidsdans, before ending up in Fredrikstad at the Norwegian Theatre Academy (graduating 2009). She has been involved with the former artist network/festivalmaking cookingclub: Strangedays, toured with the exhibition/workshop JAM! curated by Nasjonalmuseet, developed the performance group Team Stunt Tent and made physically challenged children re-invent dance. In ten years she will be art-farming, having turned her old farm into a production- and artist in recidency place.

As a performer her goal is to be at risk. She works on understanding what she is as a signal within the frame of each project, how to find the recistance required to shiver, to be reacting to whatever happens in the moment, daring to be "in the shit" and having fun with it! Her recipe for art making is to put love & care in the details, adding variations of known combinations to challenge taste, smell, sound, visual appearance, and stimulate reflection as well as sensuous experiences.

Loan Hà was born in Oslo, Norway, where she later studied at Skolen for Samtidsdans (the School for Contemporary Dance) in 2000-2002. in 2006 she graduated from the 4-year contemporary dance-programme in P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels, where she continued to live for 2 years as a freelance-dancer working with projects in Belgium and Norway.

Annesofie

At the age of 18 Annesofie decided to return from the woods and finally not abandon the world at this early state, consequentially she moved to a long sweedish island, called the Island-land to study sculpture. She was interested in her bodily experience of space and often made extensive sculptures to see them individualize and interact with the surroundings. Fascinated about perception of space she studied scenography at the Norwegian Stage Arts Academy and her understanding of sculpturing grew to include the level of time while engaging in collaborative art-projects, devised experimental performance work, physical theatre and dance, multimedia and performance art.
After completing the education she was offered several big productions and staged an opera and two theatre pieces in New York, Gothenburg and Copenhagen, but eventually learned that she didn’t want to build imaginary utopist realities, but rather suggest temporary concrete social middle spaces to create refuges and durations whose rhythms may contrast those of everyday adaptations and favor human meetings.
In the field of life-art she has collaborated on productions like The 8th Sister in the ocean of Norway, Desertwalker on the saltflats of Utah, Sulten Kommer mens man spiser exhibited at JungeHunde and Zirkulation among others.

Her wish is to stay curious, keep on knowing that she is not knowing.
A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.
